Nursery School and Kindergarten
We visited the amazing University of Chicago Lab Schools on a cold and blustery week. Among the great brainstorming ideas from the teachers was the wish to have giant heaters strategically located on the yard! Well, we didn’t get to include heaters, (“no bad weather, just bad clothing!”) but the yard now includes shady groves, a climbing wall traverse built onto an existing concrete wall, a log cabin, climbing structures, a treedeck-treehouse, music areas, sand and water play, boulders, trike tracks, and a unique architectural change to their existing low storage shed.
